In May, residents of Sandwich, NH reached out for help opposing the Sandwich Stampede, a rodeo taking place on the Sandwich Fairgrounds July 17 and 18.
In response, we spoke at the Selectmen’s meeting, sent the postcard pictured to every household in Sandwich, set up RodeoFreeNH.org, and created a petition.
Regrettably, it appears the rodeo is going forward, so we will protest on opening night.
Sandwich Stampede PROTEST
- When: Friday, July 17 4:00-6:00 pm
- Where: 5 Quimby Field Rd, Sandwich, NH. Sidewalk on Main St./Rt. 109 in front of the tennis courts
- Signs: We have 24 posters, likely enough for everyone
- Dress: Patriotic clothing welcome — a reminder that love of country and compassion for animals are not mutually exclusive.
