Signs should be placed every 300 feet and at entrances. Estimate the perimeter of your property and divide by 300 feet to determine how many signs you need. If you have a plot plan for your property, it likely includes boundary measurements. Google Earth also includes a ruler tool for measuring distances. See Post Your Property for “No Hunting” for more information.

  • Our free “No Hunting” sign program is intended for New Hampshire properties but we do provide signs for land in adjacent states in some cases.
  • Please describe the size and shape of the property to be posted (for example, “square 4-acre lot with one gate” or “12-acre long, skinny lot with three entrance points”) and estimate the number of signs you need (50 signs is the limit, although we do make exceptions). If you prefer, we can do the math for you.
  • Please let us know how you heard about our free “No Hunting” signs program.
