Sat, Aug 23, 2025 – Bark in the Park

On Sat., August 23, NHARL will have a tent at the Bark in the Park Festival to be held at Rollins Park in Concord, NH from 10 am to 3 pm.

The event is advertised as a fun, carnival-style celebration of community, arts, music, makers, NH businesses, food, and of course, dogs.

We have not yet chosen our theme but are leaning toward compassion for all animals (i.e., not just dogs).

If you’d like to help in our tent for some of the event, send email to info@nhanimalrights.org

Sat, Jun 28, 2025 – RainbowPalooza

Rainbowpalooza is the world’s first pride and vegfest — a free event organized by VINE Sanctuary, an LGBTQ+ led animal sanctuary in Springfield, VT.

NHARL will have a tent at the event, which takes place Sat., June 28, 12:00 to 5:00pm, at 21 Fairground Road, Springfield, VT.

There will be free vegan food, speakers, music, activities for kids, and a surprise special guest!

We’re looking for one or two outgoing volunteers to help share information about our programs and campaigns and invite people to join our mailing list.

Want to help? Drop us an email at nhanimalrights.org.

Sat., May 31, 2025 – Mutt Strutt

Once again, NHARL will have a tent at Mutt Strutt an annual fundraiser hosted by our friends at the Manchester Animal Shelter.

The event is Sat., May 31 from 10 am to 2 pm at Livingston Park in Manchester and includes a one-mile walk around Dorrs Pond for eventgoers and their pooches.

Volunteers warmly welcomed! You can help for a couple hours or stay for the whole event. Email info@nhanimalrights.org.

May 1-31, 2025 – Manchester Vegan Chef Challenge

Kicking off May 12025, we are hosting a Manchester Vegan Chef Challenge in Manchester! This month-long event created by Vegan Outreach is designed to showcase new vegan menu items created by local restaurant chefs.

We’re inviting Manchester restaurants to join the Vegan Chef Challenge and compete by creating delicious vegan dishes for diners to enjoy!

Diners vote for their favorite dishes, and restaurants with winning dishes receive awards!

The Vegan Chef Challenge has been a hit in other cities, including NewtonMA. Participating restaurants tend to keep popular vegan items on their menus even after the challenge ends!

This exciting, feel-good event will bring more delicious vegan options to Manchester and help move the world toward a kinder, animal-free food future.

Sat, Feb 22, 2025 – Vegan Meetup

Great news, Mount Washington area friends! You’ve been asking for a local gathering, and we’re making it happen!

Join us for our next vegan meetup on Saturday, February 22, at 11:30 AM for a delicious lunch at Table + Tonic (inside The Local Grocer – 3358 White Mountain Hwy, North Conway, NH).

Although Table + Tonic is not fully vegan, they offer many vegan options. (Below is a photo of their menu, taken about a year ago.)  The cafe also offers an array of coffee drinks and smoothies!

Our monthly meetups are a great opportunity to share good food, socialize, and exchange ideas about helping animals.

Everyone is welcome, and you don’t need to be vegan to come along. Just keep in mind that we’ll be enjoying delicious plant-based foods together!

This is a pay-for-your-own meal event.
